We are committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in our donation and payment processes. Please read this policy carefully before making a donation or payment through our Website.

1. No Refunds or Cancellations

All donations and payments made through our Website are considered voluntary and final and are generally non-refundable and non-cancellable once the payment has been successfully completed.

Once a donation has been successfully processed, it cannot ordinarily be cancelled or refunded.

We kindly request donors and contributors to carefully verify the following information before completing a payment:

  • Your name and contact details.

  • Donation amount.

  • Purpose or cause selected for the donation.

  • Payment method.

  • Other transaction details.

Please ensure that all information is correct before clicking the “Pay”, “Donate”, or equivalent payment button.

2. Payment Gateway and Third-Party Payment Services

Payments and donations made through our Website may be processed through third-party payment gateways or financial service providers.

The available payment methods may include services such as:

  • UPI

  • Debit cards

  • Credit cards

  • Net banking

  • Digital wallets

  • Other payment methods supported by the payment gateway

The payment gateway used for a particular transaction will be displayed during the donation or payment process.

These third-party payment providers use their own systems and security measures for processing transactions. Their respective terms and privacy policies may also apply.

Global Vision Health and Education Trust does not control the processing systems of third-party payment providers and cannot be held responsible for delays, interruptions, technical failures, or transaction issues caused by banks, payment networks, payment gateways, or other third-party providers.

If your payment fails or appears to be stuck, we recommend:

  1. Waiting a few minutes for the transaction status to update.

  2. Checking your bank account or payment provider statement.

  3. Contacting your bank or payment provider if the amount has been debited but the transaction appears unsuccessful.

  4. Contacting us if the issue remains unresolved.

3. Duplicate or Incorrect Transactions

If you believe that an error has occurred during your transaction, such as:

  • The same donation being charged more than once.

  • An incorrect amount being deducted.

  • A payment being deducted from your account but not reflected in the donation record.

  • A technical issue resulting in an unexpected transaction.

please contact us as soon as possible.

To help us investigate the matter efficiently, please provide:

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Transaction ID or payment reference number

  • Amount paid

  • Date and approximate time of payment

  • Payment method or payment gateway used

  • Screenshot or proof of payment, if available

  • Description of the issue

We will review the transaction and coordinate with the relevant payment service provider or financial institution where necessary.

If a genuine duplicate charge or technical payment error is verified, any resolution or refund will be handled subject to applicable law, payment gateway procedures, and the circumstances of the transaction.

4. Failed Transactions

If your bank account or payment method has been debited but the donation or payment is shown as unsuccessful, pending, or incomplete, please do not immediately make another payment.

Some transactions may take time to be confirmed because of delays involving banks, payment gateways, UPI networks, or other financial institutions.

Please first verify your bank/payment statement and contact us with your transaction details if the amount remains unresolved.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist you in tracing the transaction.

5. Refund Processing

Where a refund is determined to be applicable due to a verified duplicate transaction, technical error, or other circumstance permitted under applicable law, the refund will generally be processed through the original payment method or through the applicable payment service provider.

The time required for the refund to appear in your account may depend on:

  • Your bank or financial institution.

  • The payment gateway.

  • The payment method used.

  • Banking and payment network processing times.

Global Vision Health and Education Trust cannot guarantee the exact time taken by a third-party financial institution to credit a refund.

6. Donation Receipts and Records

Where applicable, donation receipts may be issued based on the information provided by the donor and the applicable legal and tax requirements.

Donors are responsible for providing accurate information, including their name, address, email address, phone number, and other details required for generating appropriate donation records or receipts.
